Purchasing Policy

We're excited to help you create meaningful, personalised art. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how our service works — from creating your artwork to delivery, returns, and support.

1. Creating Your Artwork

To start, simply upload an image you'd like to turn into a personalised artwork. You then select your preferred style, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • We currently do not support direct edits after the order is placed. If you'd like to make changes, please contact our support team.
  • We do not allow uploads of content containing nudity, violence, or explicit material, or anything that infringes on copyrighted content.
  • We reserve the right to deny any content based on our internal policy without explanation.

2. Pacing an order

After creating your artwork, choose your product type:

  • Digital Download: You'll receive a high-resolution file via email after purchase.
  • Printed Art: Choose your size.
  • Framed Print: Select your preferred frame color.

We process all payments securely via Stripe, accepting:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Buy Now Pay Later options (like Klarna) in supported countries

You will receive an order confirmation by email, along with status updates as your order progresses.

3. Cancellations

Your order is processed as soon as it has been placed. When the printing has begun we can't cancel the order. We do try our best to help you if you want to cancel and notify us within the first two hours of placement but we can't guarantee that it will be possible. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at support@motiv.art.

4. Shipping & delivery

We ship to most European countries. For global orders, contact us first and we’ll help facilitate your request.

  • Digital Files: Delivered by email, usually within 1 hour.
  • Physical Orders: Processed and shipped within 2–5 business days.
  • Shipping Time: Typically 3–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination.

We ship using PostNord, Schenker, and DHL, and all shipments come with tracking.

All physical orders are subject to a flat €9 shipping fee.

5. Returns, Claims & Refunds

Because each product is custom-made, we do not accept returns for digital or physical goods.

If your item arrives damaged, we're here to help:

  • Contact support@motiv.art with your order number
  • Include a clear photo of the damaged item
  • Describe what happened

Depending on the situation, we may offer a refund or credit for a new order.

Return shipping costs are handled case-by-case. We're committed to making things right and ensuring you're delighted with your purchase.

6. Customer Support

Right now, all support is handled by email at support@motiv.art.

We aim to respond within 1 hour on business days.

7. Product Disclaimer

Our frames are made from natural wood, so variations in color and texture may occur. While we strive to match your printed artwork as closely as possible to the digital version, minor differences may occur due to the nature of physical printing.

8. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we believe a customer is not using our service in line with this or any of our other policies.
